George House - Coventry

George House is the stunning new headquarters for Deeley Group opened in January 2008.

Deeley Group has celebrated more than 70 years of history by moving to a new £5 million headquarters. It is the first time the Group, which was founded in 1936, has moved to a new headquarters since the 1960s and the two-storey building has been named George House after its founder George Deeley.

Deeley Group has created the new high-tech headquarters on the Coventry Business Park in Canley on the site of the former Triumph plant - much of which was built originally by the Deeley Group.

The 20,000 sq ft environmentally-friendly building was built by Deeley Construction and is now home to about 100 staff working in the company’s four divisions.

Peter Deeley, chairman of the group, said the new headquarters represented a considerable investment for the company.

“We felt that the time was right to create a new headquarters which reflected more modern business practices and would allow us to take the business forward for the next 50 years.”
