Accomodation Refurbishment, Wainbody House Kenilworth Road, Coventry

Deeley Homes completed a full scale conversion and extension of an old Warwick University accommodation site, creating a small development of highly desirable residential properties.

Deeley Homes saw the potential of this neglected site, on a key arterial route close to Coventry City Centre located within leafy surroundings of the University.

Deeley Construction were selected as designers and main contractors for the project.

From the outset, the vision was to create an exclusive development of luxury apartments and town houses with private gated access, set in their own landscaped grounds with associated private car parking.

This was a far cry from the previous site use as a house of multiple occupation for the University. The property had seen better days.

One of the key challenges was to reconfigure the internal spaces and integrate a new extension to create 8 unique homes.

The project involved a clever use of roof spaces (to maximise the square metreage of the development) that would otherwise have been left as voids.

With appealing furnishings and fittings, the interiors of the show apartment completed the vision.

The end result was a desirable, high quality residential development that sold well to both local residents and people new to the city of Coventry.
