An extension to the Warwick Medical School, will enable the University of Warwick to increase its offering to future medical students.
Warwick Medical School embraces the University’s commitment to world-class research, training and innovation, and identified discovery research for improved healthcare as one of its key objectives.
The objective of this extension to the Mechanochemical Cell Biology Building (MCBB) is to provide a new, suitable, top quality laboratory. This will provide space in line with the Biomedical Cell Biology Division’s need to accommodate more researchers in the building.
This building must create certain laboratory environments (i.e. heating and cooling) for cancer research. For these specialist requirements the extension required a significant fit out of M&E services to provide.
The key to the success of the project was to maintain services to the rest of the building while we were on site.
