This land & build development provided by Deeley Group, is made up of 30 two, three and four-bedroom homes with associated garages, car parking, and other ancillary and enabling works.
Careful consideration and planning took place to bring the scheme to Bermuda, with public exhibitions to gather feedback from the local community.
As part of a 30-year regeneration project, Deeley Group has already built new sports pitches and a social club creating a new community hub for Bermuda, as well as more than 1,000 homes and commercial properties that have seen the creation of 2,000 jobs in the area.
The homes, designed to attain Level 3 of the Code for Sustainable Homes, include extensive renewable energy sources including photovoltaic panels.
A key environmental consideration of the site was the stability of the ground due to former mine workings which are common in that area and other abnormal ground conditions. A drilling and grouting operation took place to ensure NHBC guidelines were followed.
