• Peter Deeley

    Managing Director

    Peter joined family owned construction company (established in Coventry in 1936) from school in 1958. Worked on site (a good carpenter’s mate), with the Surveyors Department in the office and then in 1961 acted as Site Manager for a new housing development in Balsall Common.

    Peter took over as Chairman of Deeley Group upon the death of his father in 1986.

    In 1991 Peter became Chairman of Coventry Technical College (now City College), Chairman of the Construction Section of the Coventry Chamber of Commerce in 1998 and he is past Chairman of the Builder Employers Confederation (Coventry and Warwickshire) and Heart of England Community Foundation.

    Peter is married with three daughters and enjoys golf and travelling.

  • Anthony Holt

    Group Development Director

    Anthony has been involved with sourcing, obtaining planning and developing out residential development and mixed-use opportunities in the Midlands for over 25 years.

    After obtaining a degree in valuation surveying, he started land leading schemes with a small contractor, working with various housing associations 25 years ago, and was fortunate enough to work at Crosby Homes, part of the Berkeley Group when they first ventured into City Centre Living in the Midlands, developing out schemes including Symphony Court in Birmingham. He went on to work with other housing developers in the retirement and open market sectors.

    Latterly he was the Regional Development Director for Orbit Homes in the Midlands, overseeing land, build and sales for the region. Working with a great team we were able to build the output of the region to over 1,000 units per year and deliver many great multi tenure schemes, including Arden Quarter in Stratford-upon-Avon.

    He has a wealth of knowledge gained over the years in all aspects of land purchase, the planning process, development, sales and leading multi disciplined teams.

    Outside of work he enjoys playing and watching cricket, the occasional game of golf.

  • Pat Moroney


    Pat spent 11 years in private practice until joining Deeley Group in 1997 during the planning stages of Central Six Retail Park. Pat helped the company to deliver, what was then, its largest development project and he played a major role in delivering Coventry’s first ‘fashion park’ that  continues to be a commercial success for the city today.

    Initially Pat was Company Architect at Deeley Group and over the years his role has changed until now, as a director of Deeley Properties & Deeley Homes, he oversees a number of key development projects from inception to completion. His experience of the legal, procurement, planning, design and construction processes mean that he brings a unique understanding of the development cycle to increasingly, complex projects.

    Outside of work Pat is a keen fitness enthusiast and amateur jockey.

  • Martin Gallagher


    Martin joined Deeley Construction as a Trainee Surveyor in 1988.

    During his training within the company, Martin obtained an Honours Degree in Quantity Surveying at the University of Central England in Birmingham, as well as becoming a Professional Member of The Chartered Institute of Building and The Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors.

    He has progressed from Trainee Surveyor through to his current role of Managing Director of Deeley Construction Limited.

    Under Martin’s guidance the company concentrates on design and construction and has carried out a diverse range of projects including industrial, commercial, retail, housing and public buildings including schools and colleges.

    Martin is married with a son – who takes up most of his time!  His interests include running, where he has completed the London Marathon in 2016 raising over £7,000 for for The Alzheimer’s Society.

  • Steve Jones

    Director - Estimating

    Steve joined the company in 2008 as Senior Estimator and was promoted to Estimating Manager in April 2010 having previously held the same position at a number of other local construction companies. He was appointed as Estimating Director in June 2010.

    After nearly 20 years experience as a contractor’s Quantity Surveyor he transferred to an estimating role in 1995 and brings a wealth of experience to managing the pre-contract activities of the company. In 1984 he obtained a professional qualification in quantity surveying and became an Associate of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.

    Steve has a daughter and a son and is a keen golfer.

  • Jane Fradgley

    Senior Development Manager

    Jane has worked in the housing industry for over 20 years, after gaining a BA Hons in Social Policy she started working with a housing association on the management side but quickly moved into housing development where she has continued to work. During her career she has since gained an MBA which she studied for whilst working full time.

    To date she has worked for housing associations, both regional and national, although she also worked for a consultancy firm where she liaised with several major plc developers assisting them to get grant direct through the Homes England (at the time Housing Corporation) funding programme.

    Most recently Jane has worked for Orbit Homes where she negotiated on the purchase of land, undertaking technical reviews, costing schemes and promoting them through planning, working closely with the sales and build teams to oversee scheme costs and sales values to drive through market sale schemes to create surplus which was reinvested back into the business.

    Jane loves music and attends numerous gigs, she is a keen runner and tries to run a different marathon every year (currently at the moment she is training for New York). Jane also is a keen cyclist…..when she can fit it in!
